At first sight, Tuesday is a film about an ordinary life of a teenage girl living in Istanbul. The plot follows her encounters with three different man during a day full of activities: she goes to school, plays basketball and comes home by bus. Each encounter triggers a different reaction in her: excitement, repulsion and revolt. The film is a short study of the men who think they have an absolute and unquestionable right to interfere in a woman's privacy.
Ziya Demirel was born in 1988, in Adana, Turkey. While studying industrial engineering, he directed his first short film The Title of the Film.
