Three brothers are returning to their village, to their childhood home. Their mother is not well; she hardly ever wakes up and the sons take care about her one after another. One brother is somewhat tense and the others have problems dealing with him. The three of them come into conflict with each other in their parents' house, facing the upcoming tragedy at the same time. 

Isabella Karhu, a Finnish filmmaker. Sons is her directorial debut. It won the Student Prize at the Tampere Film Festival.
