At the 12:30 press conference in Müller Auditorium of Cinema Europa on Saturday (25 October), the festival winners will be announced. The awards will be given in Cinema Europa at 20:00. The award-presentation ceremony will be followed by the screening of A Pigeon Sat On A Branch, Reflecting On Existence, a film by Swedish absurd-loving director Roy Andersson, this year's winner of Golden Lion in Venice. The film will be shown out of competition.
Reruns of some of the films we have seen in the past week will take place on Saturday, too. They include the documentaries smoKings by Michele Fornasero, Dancing With Maria by Ivan Gergolet, Red Army by Gabe Polsky, Naked Island by Tiha K. Gudac and Judgment In Hungary by Eszter Hajdú.
Anton Corbijn's A Most Wanted Man from Together Again program will be shown again, as well as Christian Petzold's Phoenix and Abel Ferrara's Pasolini from Great 5 program.
The reruns of the Bib for Kids program include Astrid Henning-Jensen's classic Pale Alone In The World and Branko Schmidt's Hang Up!.
