The Danish film program and exchange of ideas between Croatian and Danish filmmakers were greeted today by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Prince Consort Henrik of Denmark, who visited Zagreb Film Festival as part of their official visit to the Republic of Croatia.

Danish Royal Couple enhanced the screening of Itsi Bitsi, a film by Danish director Ole Christian Madsen that took place today at 17:00 in Cinema Europa. Queen Margrethe II, Prince Consort Henrik and Danish delegation were greeted in front of Cinema Tuškanac by Director of ZFF Boris T. Matić, Director of Croatian Audiovisual Center Hrvoje Hribar, Director of Danish Film Institute Henrik Bo Nielsen and director of Itsi Bitsi Ole Christian Madsen. In the theater, after a few words by Boris T. Matić, Henrik Bo Nielsen, Hrvoje Hribar and Ole Christian Madsen, Prince Consort Henrik of Denmark addressed the audience.

Danish short film Seven Boats, directed by Hlynur Pálmason, was shown before Itsi Bitsi. Zagreb Film Festival takes place at six venues and lasts till 26 October.
