On Saturday, 21 November at 8pm, with an award ceremony, the 13th edition of Zagreb Film Festival was closed. The award ceremony was followed by the Zagreb premiere of the third part of the omnibus Zagreb Stories, screened out of competition.

Although the festival was officially closed with the Saturday award ceremony and screening, the audience will be able to watch films on Sunday, 22 November as well. Europa at 3pm is screening the Brazilian film The Second Mother, and at 5.30pm Son of Saul (the 13th ZFF winning film), followed by a 7.30pm rerun of Zagreb Stories Vol. 3. At 9.30pm the opening title of this year’s festival is scheduled – the Icelandic film Rams. Tuškanac Cinema schedules LUX Film Day – three finalists for the LUX Prize, given each year by the European Parliament for outstanding achievement in European cinema. The slots are following: the Bulgarian-Greek film The Lesson by Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov at 5pm, the Italian film Mediterranea by Jonas Carpignano at 7.30pm, and Mustang by Turkish director Deniz Gamze Ergüven at 10pm. Before these, the audience will get another chance to see the Croatian title The High Sun by Dalibor Matanić, scheduled for 2.30pm at the same location as one of the 10 short-listed films.

ZFF Sunday continues as the Museum of Contemporary Art as well: at 5pm a rerun of Macbeth by Justin Kurzel in The Great 5, at 7.30pm the Spanish film 10 000 Kilometres, and at 9.30pm the latest film by Norwegian director Joachim Trier Louder than Bombs.
