Milan and his stepmother Nada, with whom he doesn't get along so well, end up at baptism celebration by a river. Although they seemingly have nothing in common, they will have to work together when a fugitive from justice captures their boat. He demands from Milan and his sxtepmother to act as a happy family. However, Milan and nada have other plans. HRT's short feature River tells us an interesting story about family relationshsips. This is Gančev's second film made as part of the Eurovision project Children's Drama Series for the kids from 7 To 10 years of age. His first film under the project, Ema, was made six years ago. It was shown at Chicago International Film Festival.
Krasimir Gančev earned his degree in Film and TV Editing from the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art. He has directed more than 200 commercials and wrote and directed numerous documentaries and TV shows. His film Ema won the title of Best Film in EBU Drama competition for children and youth.
