Nine-year-old Ted is desperately searching for something he is good at. On the day his father comes home with an old monstrous piano, Ted has a revelation: he will become the next Mozart. Based on the short story “Every Good Boy” by David Nicholls.
Tommaso Pitta graduated from the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts in Milan and from the National Film and Television School. He started work as a theater director in Italy, writing and directing award-winning plays. How I didn't Become A Piano Player won the Royal Television Society Student Award for Best Post Graduate Drama and the Audience Award at Aspen Shortsfest among others.
