Although the festival program at Europa and Tuškanac cinemas and the Museum of Contemporary Art continues on Sunday, 22 November, Saturday at ZFF is a day for award and closing ceremonies. Europa Cinema’s program begins at 11am with a screening of Short, but Sweet Films for Children, and continues with reruns from the main program. The Brazilian Neon Bull by Gabriel Mascaro is scheduled for 2.30pm, and the Estonian In the Crosswind by Martti Helde at 4.30pm.
At 8pm, Europa is hosting the official closing and award ceremony, followed by a screening of the third part of the Zagreb Stories omnibus. The films was directed by Ivan Salaj, Petar Orešković, Matija Vukšić, Vlatka Vorkapić, Danilo Šerbedžija and Radislav Jovanov Gonzo and it consists of six stories on the subject of holidays. Interestingly, immediately after ZFF the film will be released for Europa’s regular line-up. Before Zagreb Stories, screened out of competition, the audience will have another chance to see the short film Zagabria (1911), shown at the opening night.
Tuškanac Cinema is rerunning two attractive titles in the Together Again section. At 4.30, Aferim! by Radu Jude, and at 7pm the Mexican film A Monster with a Thousand Heads by Rodrigo Plá.
At 9pm Tuškanac is screening the award-winning feature, and at 11pm the winners in the best Croatian and best international short category.
At 4.30pm the Museum of Contemporary Art is screening My Golden Days by Arnaud Desplechin, from The Great 5. At 7pm check out White Knights by Joachim Lafosse and at 9.30pm Youth by Paolo Sorrentino at the same location.
